Indoor Pictures

For the most part, I don't get a lot of urges to take pictures inside.  The dogs are generally pretty mellow and unless we are actively playing, they aren't doing anything particularly photo worthy (not to mention the camera = fun so if I pick it up, their relaxed pose is gone and all they want to do is go outside).  Jack however, is always wandering around getting into stuff and I often wish I had my camera in hand.  I just took a few head shots of him today when I had 5 minutes to kill. I really should make an effort to take more photos of him and Lu.

Sad Face

Today was a "Stay at home and let Coulee's feet rest" day so we practiced Lacey's favourite trick (I should also mention it is her only trick...) taught by Amanda. Yes I know I need to vacuum - it has been at least 2 days since I did.  See why I hate indoor photos????  Ugh.  That and all the stuff in the background.  Double Ugh.

Definitely Addicted

Seriously.  I don't think I'll be able to stop taking silhouettes after this latest session.  I've not sure how I'm going to narrow them down for this post.

I met up with Colleen, her friend Julie and their dogs Marley, Ollie and Rosco and magic happened...

Bath Time II

As you probably guessed after yesterday's walk, it was time for Coulee's bath.  She isn't quite as pathetic as Lacey but she is still awfully cute, even if she did try and get me wet.

A Little Muddy

Park Lake is officially no longer frozen.  There are still some sections of ice, but it is mainly open water now.  It must still be freezing, but there was no stopping Coulee today.  The more she ran, the dirtier she got until I think she literally turned into a Lake Monster.

Feeling Owly

Last weekend I visited a friend and we went off owl hunting.  We found two snowy owls sitting on top of fence posts.  It was snowing and the sky was grey (I'm trying not to think about how cool these would have been on a bright blue sky day) and it made it hard to focus on the owl at times, especially the super white one.  I may just need to do this again soon!

Bath Time

Despite the amount of crap my dogs get into, they don't get a lot of baths.  There isn't really much point if they are going to go out again the next day and do it all over again.  Most of it just falls off them when they dry and if they have rolled in something particularly stinky they usually get a quick "spot bath".

But the other day, Lacey was covered in mud AND we had a new shampoo to try out that Judy bought us.  So poor, poor Lacey got to hop in the tub.

Even before I got started she was hoping to get out.

Oh the misery.

It is nice to have a good smelling dog if only for a day!
