We went out to a friend's place yesterday for his 40th Birthday Party. They have a beautiful acreage just north of Mosseleigh that I've been jealous of since the day I met them. It is just far enough off the highway so that you can't see it or hear it but close enough that it isn't a big bother in the winter. You can't see a single home from their house - unless you count the beautiful old buildings crumbling to the ground across the road.
What acreage is complete without a few horses,
a barn cat named Bill,
and of course a pot-bellied pig!
We had a great time just hanging out, eating great food, admiring the amazing cake (A friend of theirs is a chef and she made the cake with her sister's help. It tasted as good as it looked.)
and of course oohing and ahhing over their new baby boy Elijah.

What wonderful photos! Love both the scenery and cat pictures. That pot belly pig is HUGE! Does he live outside?
Yes Taz the pig lives outside. She is quite large! She has her own, very deluxe, "pig house" with a front porch and everything.
