For years, my Grandma made Pink Clouds (aka Wendy's Delights) for me at Christmas. Now that she no longer bakes, I am carrying on the tradition (even though Marlin hates them - that just leaves more for me to eat!). They are essentially a sugar cookie with a merigue topping that has crushed candy cane and chocolate chips mixed in. Doesn't that sound good?
My other favourite is a Chewy Chocolate Ginger Cookie that I found in the 2001 Martha Stewart Holiday Cookie magazine. It actually uses real ginger in the recipe. Yum, Yum!

yummy! it's always "a good thing" to make cookies that your spouse doesn't like!!
Andy sometimes complains that I make cookies for the dogs, but not for him! The problem is that if I made cookies for him, I'd eat them all anyway!
