Can't Decide

I need help. I am going to try out a company that does canvas prints and I want to get some done up for the daycare to showcase my new photography services. I love so many of the pictures of Sadie bouncing through the air chasing after her ball that I can't narrow it down to one. So which one is your favourite?

#1

#2

#3

My second canvas is going to be the picture of Lu that I took a little while ago and I still need to pick a third. I'm off to scour my photos! I also need to test out a lab and get some 8x10's printed. All these decisions to make!

I like them all.. but I think #1 is my favorite. #3's not far behind, I just felt like you could see her a little better in #1. #2's cute, but there's too many teeth, I think.

I like #1 best. On the whole, I agree with Sam's remarks

I like #3, then #1 - I think it is the teeth thing too.

I like number 1, but I think the shadow in the bottom left might annoy you...

i don't think #2 will look as good big...

number three is my second choice...

Good call on the shadow. I had never noticed it before but now I won't be able to stop looking at it!

I really love #1 as it captures flight so amazingly well.

Hm. Well, right off the bat, I was drawn to #2. I think it's partially because you can see the ball-crazed look in Sadie's eyes. Also, it's a really unique perspective (her nose slightly bigger than the rest).

If I was going to be really picky (because let's face it, they're all great shots) I was distracted by the shadow in #1, and I found the blue space a bit much in #3.

oooh a constructive critique, my fav, its the Art Director in me :) i can't shake my day job :p

i like #1, but I would consider cropping to make the composition stronger, get rid of the bottom area from the shadow downwards, it will really make sadie look as if she is popping off the canvas. her legs are cut off anyway, it might make it look more intentional that way (cropping a bit more off the bottom)

#2 is good too, the grass on her nose distracts me though!!

#3 i might crop a bit off the top to make a little less sky, but still keeping sadie in the bottom 1/3

my 2, i mean 3 cents :)

they are all nice!
