Thanks guys. Lol Lisa. I'm sure I'm the only one willing to pay for a book of Coulee and Lacey photos but I appreciate the support! ;)
K-Koira (sorry don't know your name) - I agree. It is why you see none of Lacey. Coulee always drops the toy at my feet and does a lead out so I'm able to throw and get pictures. Without that, she'd never be in the right place at the right time. I was thinking I should try with a wider lens and shorter throw for Lacey and see if I could make it work.
Thanks for the blog award!!! I'll do up a post in the next day or two once I figure out who to pass it on to. :)
I agree with K-Koira, so many shots are hard to get without a second person along. My dogs stay pretty close by, so it's hard to get action shots. I can get a million "sit-stay" shots but they lack the drama of the action shots.
You definitely have a knack for catching your girls in the act!
Coulee is a 9 year old border collie / golden retriever. She's got the looks of a retriever but inside she is all border collie. She is smart, fast and agile. It is always fun on a walk when she is around.
Little - AKA Lacey
I think Lacey is the cutest dog EVER. She is a 6 year old pug/cattle dog cross. She is cuddly and sweet, playful and independant. Too bad she has that cattle dog bark...otherwise she'd be perfect.

Oh Wow, you should publish a book to sell in stores with all your amazing photos
Love silhouettes. So hard to get with just one person though- so much easier with one dog handler and one photo taker
Wendy, those are great, very powerful imagery!
