How do you get such great shots? I was taking pics of some dogs playing today and get lots of butts and bad shots. Do you use zoom, and how do you get their faces in the shot??
Hi Natalie, Yes I definitely use a zoom for most of my action shots. I also crouch down so that I am at their level. As for getting their faces, I just wait until they twist and turn and face me - no point wasting "film" when they've got their backs to me. These were taken over a 1 hour walk where they played pretty much the whole time. It wasn't a single wrestle session, so I had lots of opportunity to wait for the right moment to press the shutter.
Coulee is a 9 year old border collie / golden retriever. She's got the looks of a retriever but inside she is all border collie. She is smart, fast and agile. It is always fun on a walk when she is around.
Little - AKA Lacey
I think Lacey is the cutest dog EVER. She is a 6 year old pug/cattle dog cross. She is cuddly and sweet, playful and independant. Too bad she has that cattle dog bark...otherwise she'd be perfect.

Oh and Sandy - Lacey is wearing Dublin Dog and Coulee the one on that Amanda bought last year at the pet expo... I can't remember the company name.
