I love the way Lacey puts more and more effort into the game while Coulee just stands there bored waiting for Lacey to tire herself out.

Attempted Theft

It was super windy today (gusting to 80 km/hr) when we went for a walk this morning.  The frisbee flew for miles in the wind and the little ones decided that it was too far for them to go.  Coulee of course, was up for anything.

So instead Boone, Vito and Lacey would watch Coulee race off and they would just sit and wait.  When she came back, they would race to meet her and attempt to steal the frisbee.

But after working that hard for the prize, she wasn't about to let it go.

Freaking Wind

Even her tongue is folded in the wind.

Barking Problem

Coulee can be a little... shall we say... vocal.

She seems to be getting more vocal with each passing day.  She barks in the car at people and dogs on the street. She barks in the backyard just to tell the world she is there. She barks at Lacey when she wants the toy.

I think a citronella diet is in order.  She is going to wear a citronella collar whenever we leave the house for a little while to remind her that it isn't necessary to bark at EVERYTHING outside of her control.

On a good note, she does not bark to tell us she wants food. She would die from starvation if she started that!

Photofusion

Every year the Lethbridge Photography Club gets their members to put together slideshows that they show over a few evenings.  This year, Photofusion is on March 8 and 9.  It is my first year as a member and I've decided I'm going to put together a slideshow.  Gulp!

I'm a little nervous about it.  Everyone in the club seems to be very artistic, while I'm a little more light and airy.

I'm struggling to a) string together random photos of dogs and not have them look like random photos of dogs and b) not have 101 photos of Coulee and Lacey and 2 photos of other dogs (OK the mix isn't that bad, but you know what I mean).  I have decided to narrow my theme a little more and do "Dogs and their Toys" but that is still pretty vague and wide open.

I'm also still on the hunt for the perfect song to accompany the photos.  I've got a few ideas, but nothing I'm hooked on.  If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I'm going to work on the slideshow this weekend. It should be fun going through the archives!

We got another big dump of snow last night.  For once, I was the first one to get cold on our walk.  They were too busy having fun.
