I think what I like most about blue skies in photos is that they can take an ordinary photo and give it some pop.
Lacey's bright red coat doesn't hurt either.

I have to agree with you - love the bright blue sky background.
Truly a gorgeous sky! The sky in my area never gets to that kind of blue. Too much air pollutuon, I guess.
