Panning - A to Z Challenge

Panning is one of those photographic techniques that I always think would be super cool to do with dogs, but I always find it makes me slightly nauseous while editing.  The number of "misses" are quite high and man, are they blurry messes.  That being said, I think this attempt was my best to date.

The trick is to use a slow shutter speed and move the camera with the moving object.  Everything moving along the same plane and at the same speed as the camera should be clear, everything else will be blurry.

For those of you who are going to ask, these were taken at ISO 100, f11 and 1/125 shutter.  :)
